It was then acquired by Radionomy in 2014. Winamp may seem to have to gone by the wayside in terms of technical advancement as a media player but this is not the case at all. Although it’s 21 years old it still commands a well-regarded fanbase and a big reason for this is the huge range of free and paid for plug-ins that are available.
